SnapRaffle’s Privacy Policy

Privacy comes first and foremost at SnapRaffle. Your privacy is critically important to us. This privacy policy is effective January 1st, 2017; it summarizes what information we might collect from a registered user or other participant, and what we will and will not do with it.

First, we have a few fundamental principles at SnapRaffle:

  • We don’t ask you for personal information unless we truly need it to provide our services.
  • We don’t share your personal information with anyone except to comply with the law, develop our products, or protect our rights.
  • We don’t sell personal information. Your name and email address will never be given or sold to a 3rd party.
  • We don’t store personal information on our servers unless it’s required for the on-going operation of one of our services.

Like most website operators, SnapRaffle collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. SnapRaffle’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how SnapRaffle’s visitors use its website.

From time to time, SnapRaffle may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.

SnapRaffle also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in users and for users leaving comments on SnapRaffle blogs. SnapRaffle only discloses logged in user and commenter IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information as described below, except that blog commenter IP addresses are visible and disclosed to the administrators of the blog where the comment was left.

One other exception is when a SnapRaffle giveaway is entered by text message (MMS), the phone number of the entrant will be logged and available for the giveaway administrator to view with the intentions of using this information to help moderate giveaway entries. It’s common for sweepstakes promotions run by giveaway administrators to limit entries into their giveaways to one per household or per phone number, as an phone number might represent an individual person.

Certain visitors to SnapRaffle’s websites choose to interact with SnapRaffle in ways that require SnapRaffle to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that SnapRaffle gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who sign up for an account at SnapRaffle to provide a name and email address. Those who engage in transactions with SnapRaffle – by purchasing access to a premium service for example – are asked to provide additional information, including as necessary the personal and financial information required to process those transactions.

In each case, SnapRaffle collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with SnapRaffle. SnapRaffle does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. And visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.

Enter the Sweepstakes during the Promotion Period by texting a photo to your participating business’ SnapRaffle phone number, more info can be found at

Automated or robotic Entries submitted by individuals or organizations will be disqualified. Text message entry must be made by the Entrant. Any attempt by Entrant to obtain more than the stated number of Entries by using multiple/different email addresses, phone numbers, identities, registrations, logins or any other methods, including, but not limited to, commercial contest/sweepstakes subscription notification and/or entering services, will void Entrant’s Entries and that Entrant may be disqualified. Final eligibility for the award of any prize is subject to eligibility verification as set forth below. All Entries must be posted by the end of the Promotion Period in order to participate. Sponsor’s database clock will be the official timekeeper for this Sweepstakes.

If you have reason to believe the giveaway administrator is using this list maliciously, please contact us at [email protected]

SnapRaffle may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to its websites and sweepstakes entrants. For instance, SnapRaffle may monitor the most popular SnapRaffle giveaways. SnapRaffle also has Google Analytics installed on our site as well as other analytic programs that help us gather feedback and make decisions on how to improve our service offerings. However, SnapRaffle does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.

SnapRaffle discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on SnapRaffle’s behalf or to provide services available at SnapRaffle’s websites, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others. Some of those employees, contractors and affiliated organizations may be located outside of your home country; by using SnapRaffle’s websites or app, you consent to the transfer of such information to them.

As an example, if you’re having trouble with choosing a winner (whether that be user error or a bug on our end) and you file a support ticket, an employee of SnapRaffle may access your account to help decide how to best remedy the solution. This might include opening up your list of entries and seeing entrant information.

SnapRaffle will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone. Other than to its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations, as described above, SnapRaffle discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only in response to a subpoena, court order or other governmental request, or when SnapRaffle believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of SnapRaffle, third parties or the public at large.

If you are a registered user of an SnapRaffle website and have supplied your email address, SnapRaffle may occasionally send you an email to tell you about new features, solicit your feedback, or just keep you up to date with what’s going on with SnapRaffle and our products. We primarily use our blog, Facebook page, and Twitter account to communicate this type of information, so we expect to keep this type of email to a minimum. If you send us a request (for example via a support email or via one of our feedback mechanisms), we reserve the right to publish it in order to help us clarify or respond to your request or to help us support other users. SnapRaffle takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information.
